Hello,
Microalbuminuria is when very small amounts of a protein called albumin pass through your kidneys and into your urine.
Microalbuminuria is defined as losing 30 to 300 milligrams of albumin in your urine per day. If you lose more than this, you may have a condition called proteinuria, which is when the levels of protein in your urine are higher than 300 milligrams per day.

Microalbuminuria can often be the first sign of kidney damage or kidney disease. People with type 1 and type 2 diabetes may develop kidney damage as a complication of their diabetes. If you have diabetes and microalbuminuria is detected early, there are treatments that may slow down any further damage to your kidneys.

Microalbuminuria can also be a sign of more widespread damage to your blood vessels, including those of your heart. Microalbuminuria can be a sign that you're at an increased risk of heart disease, particularly if you have type 2 diabetes.

Treatment involves..
Tight control of your blood sugar levels.
Tight control of blood pressure by giving either ACE inhibitors or ARB's( keep your BP below 120/80.
Quitting of smoking
Prompt control of dyslipidemia
Prompt control of your weight. You should be in required range of your BMI.
Prompt control of any UTI.
Avoiding any nephrotoxic drugs.

I advise you to consult a diabetologist and take a proper treatment.
Don't loose heart,a prompt treatment shall enable you to stop / delay the progression of your kidney disease.
Thanks.

DEAR SIR/MADAM

MICROALBUMINURIA REPRESENTS PROTIEN LEAK IN THE KIDNEY, IT IS THE MARKER OF MICROVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS OF DIABETES HAPPENING VERY EARLY.

SECONDLY IT SIGNIFIES TO AVOID ITS FURTHER PROGRESSION TO MACROALBUMINURIA, WHICH WILL TRIGGER GROSS KIDNEY DISEASE.

YOU CAN POST PONE THE PROGRESS OF MICROALBUMINURIA TO MACROALBUMINURIA, OR EVEN SOME WHAT STOP THE PROTIEN LEAKEAGE BY THE
1. USING ACE INHIBITORS - TO BE STOPPED ONLY IF PATIENT EXPERIENCES DRY COUGH AND OTHER SYMPTOMS
2. USE ALPHA RECEPTOR BLOCKERS

THANKS
