Twisted Leg, Pain In Left Knee, Pain On Jumping. Cure For Knee Pain?

Hi Doctor,I need a suggestion have got leg twisted. I got severe pain on Left knee where as got GAP on leg, one doctor told me to take precaution 3 weeks with no running also excercises.i did a precaution for 3 months but only little pain is there.But whenever i m trying to jump little bit pain is getting increase. What is the best way to get complete cure for Knee pain ?

thanks for the question,
First of all, which part got twisted, knee or ankle,If its the knee as happens in sports injuries ( especially football ) the most common problem that happens is the meniscal tear in which case there is c/o pain in the knee with locking of joint during extension of joint.Such repeated injuries causes hemarthrosis and swelling the joint ( effusion ).
First line of management is rest (knee brace ) to be worn for 3 weeks ( not 3 Months ) and if there is no improvement for 6 weeks then there are 2 options.Either MRI SCAN or DIAGNOSTIC ARTHROSCOPY.
