Treatment For Sore Throat And Swollen Lymph Nodes?

I've had an upper respiratory infection for a few weeks I thought I was over it and then this morning I woke up my lymph nodes are swollen my throat sore and I have red streaks of the back to that when you look in my throat do I assume it's viral or do I go to the doctor

If you are having sore throat & swollen lymph nodes and no significant throat pain or headache, then it is most likely to be viral. But if the symptoms persist even after 72 hours, then you have to go to a GP first & then if needed an ENT Specialist.
