Treatment For Painful Lump On Head

My stepson is 12 and he recently showed me 3 lumps on the back of his head, they r bout the size of a dime, he says they hurt when there is pressure on them. They aren't red or they dont have a head on them. They r quite hard and they dont move when u push them. He's not sure how long he's had them, he just discovered them a few days before showing them to me.

Hi,Dear,
Thanks for the query to HCM. I studied your problem in depth and I understood your concerns.
Treatment -
In my opinion your stepson, seems to have bruises with cellulitis which have not yet developed in to boils.They appear to be there for quiet a long time and are caused by the infection of the bruises during combing,with a healed up partially due to repeated combing trauma.
Avoid trauma for a week and they would vanish by natural healing process.
Show to ER surgeon if it grows and worries more.
So don't build up wrong concepts and create more psychic complications in you which would increase risks and costs to you, but just ask a query to HCM and be comfortable to resolve your health issues.
