Treatment For Excess Mucus, Cough, Pain In Voice Box?

I went to an ENT and she said I had scaring on top of my voice box. I've been fighting a sinus and lung infection which, when taking pxp forte has brought up black and green phlem. It hurts to sing or talk and the outside of my throat where my voice box is hurts. I have a lot of excess mucous and a pesistent cough that's kept me awake for an entire week. I'm concerned. What's next?

as this iscomplication of sinus infections
the best way to come out of voice box problem is short course of steroids as this is the only medicine available to act on voice box to reduce oedema of the vocal cords
and you continue with treatment of sinuses to prevent recurences
