Treatment For Contagious Itchy Spots?

My daughter who s 6 had these dime size spots that are not raised and appear to have no center, however itch. That was a month ago then 2 weeks ago my son age 3 and I got them. they went away and now today I have more. benadryl cream makes them go away in about 48 hrs.

this sounds like ring worm
use clotrimazole cream or nystatin cream on them two times a day for 14 days
