Transvaginal Ultrasound Showing Endometrial Stripe Is Echogenic And Is Cystic In Nature. Have Abnormal Bleeding. Perimenopausal Symptom?

Here are results of my US- transvaginal ultrasound: normal myometrial echopattern. ; endometrial stripe is echogenic measuring 12.8mm with a cystic structure measuring 5.7mm in its midportion ; both ovaries are normal in size and echopattern , no adnexal masses are seen. ; there is no free fluid in the posterior cul-de-sac. - I am 49 years old, and suffering from abnormal bleeding . Perimenopausal or is there a cause for alarm? Thanks!

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Ultrasound reports indicates the cause of abnormal bleeding.
The size of cyst in endometrium of uterus is still not large , but it is a cause of concern.
Bleeding is there ,
cyst is there,
age is another factor,
Consult a gyneacologist and get in her opinion and takke treatment accordingly.
If she advice surgery get it.
