Traces Of Blood Found In Stool. Have Colonoscopy Tomorrow. Would It Be Safe To Travel If Doctor Diagnoses A Polyp?

I am going out of the country in 6 days. I am having a colonoscopy tomorrow because traces of blood were found in my stool test. If the doctor finds something like a polyp and he decides to remove it, will I need recuperation time or would it be safe to travel in a few days? Will I need to go on a special diet? Thank you,

Hi
if your doctor decides to remove the polyp, you need recuperation time at least 24-48 h.
with regards to you diet , I would recommend to use food reash on fibers , plenty of water.
please avoid alcohol and spicy food.
All the best
