Took Emergency Contraceptive Pills After Unprotected Sex. Stopped Menstruation. Pregnancy Chances?
Hi, I had unprotected sex on the 26th July and after few hours i started with my periods, but as i had unprotectted sex i took an ipill within 24hrs.But then after the pill my bleeding slowly stopped.Today is 7th september i still have not started with my periods..is it the ipill delay or am i pregnant... please tell me im sooo worried.

I pill can alter the menstrual cycle depending on the period of menstrual cycle when you took that.
As you took the pill at the time of starting of menstruation means at the second half of previous cycle, because of high dosage of hormone in the pill your periods stopped.
And also because of pill your periods might have got postponed.
As you had intercourse around the time of menstruation, in case of regular periods ovulation is very rare at that time so also chance of pregnancy.

Since your period started soon after intercourse you are totally protected from pregnancy. The stoppage of the bleeding could be due to the hormone in the pill that you have taken. Disturbance of the cycle is a common feature of the morning after pill as it contains high doses of hormone. Yet, I advice you to see your doctor for an examination and get treated. Take care.
