from last one year, I got skin infection on my penis head. it's just on the penis head. it doesn't itch and skin exfoliate in patches. the exfoliated area becomes bit darker and looks like dead skin. which ointment should I use?
Hi. seems you have been suffering from candidal balanitis and intertrigo/tinea in the groin area. Apply a clotimazole-beclomethasone combination cream at both sites twice daily for 4 weeks. Take an Oral anti-fungal like fluconazole once weekly for 4 weeks. You should use an Antifungal dusting powder in the groins which will keep the groins area dry and prevent recurrent infections. Pigmentation will go with time if you don't get repeated infections in that area.
Get a blood sugar test done and i would also like to know that whether your sexual partner has itching or vaginal discharge? which must be treated simultaneously otherwise you both will keep infecting each other.
