Hi,
Simple enlargement of tonsil does signify nothing serious , it can be due to infection. But your complain of hard swelling is suspicious . You should ask your doctor for an ENT referral . Proper clinical investigation needed if any query biopsy should be taken without any hesitancy, consult your doctor.
