Toe Injury, Pain, Popping, Grinding Noise. Worried
i need some advice...about a year ago i was working at our town festival and when i lifted something really heavy i stumbled back and all the weight went to my right toes...i felt a poping sensation maybe even a crack. i thought i had broken it but all my friends said that doctors never do anything for broken toes accept tape them. So i didnt want to cost my parents a doc visit so i taped it to my other toes for a couple of weeks and iced and thought i was fine. throughout the last year that toe has been acheing and when i bent it down or to the side there was lots of poping and grinding noises, but i just told myself to suck it up. now im back in the marching band season and my toe is killing me, mostly when we backward march which is on our toes. so i did some research and found out that maybe i did break my toe and now ive reinjured it or i dont know. i want to stay in the marching season but im worried about future consiquences and how bad i could injure this toe....please send me some advice.
hi welcome to forum yes you guessed it right may be you broke your toe..but the most correct treatment you can be provided is by an orthopedic surgeon...an x ray of you toe is required to confirm the diagnosis... i would suggest you not to do marching this year because that could be dangerous...and also what you can do is give your toes a warm saline water bath 3-4 times daily and take some painkiller like diclofenac 50 mg with paracetamol 500 mg in combination with serratiopeptidase 50 mg twice a day... try to take rest... also start multivitamin and calcium supllements as soon as possible..... thank you waiting for follow up
