Toddler With High Fever And Dry Cough, Has Drowsiness. Suggest A Medicine?

Hi, my 21 month old has a fever of 102.7. He has had the fever for over 24 hours and is not getting better with liquids and sponging. I have not given him any meds. He is very drowsy and will not eat. He has a rattle while breathing and a dry cough . Should I try meds before calling the dr., if so what kind? Thanks in advance.

Hi
He got Viral fever.
Please give him Paracetamol syrup and Cough syrup till you meet your doctor.
Consult your doctor and add an Antibiotic syrup like Azithromycin.
He will be fine
Wish him speedy recovery
