Toddler weighing 5kg. Is it right weight for 3months?

Dear Doctor My son was born on the 28th of Aug 2012, (due date 16th Sept 2012) weighing 3.5kgs. He is 3 months and 2 weeks now but weighs only 5 kgs. Milestone wise he is on track (according to what i read on the internet), but am worried that he is not putting on enough weight. His measurements at his pediatrician s check ups (immunisations) were as follows 1st Oct 2012 height- 53cms head circumference - 36 cms weight- 3.75kgs 1st Nov 2012 height- 56cms head circumference - 39 cms weight- 4.5kgs 1st Dec 2012 height- 58.5cms head circumference - 40 cms weight- 5kgs Please advice on way forward Regards Jayden SC from India

Hi Jayden
According to your data the the growth of your child is normal only but at the same time the activity of your child and the health of child and feeding pattern should be taken into account to interpret these data.
