Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Labia Along With Severe Pain

Today I got this awful pain down I’m my lady parts. When I went to go check it out I noticed one of my labias was swollen and I could feel but not see a bump. It hurts constant, kind of like an incoming pimple when you press on it but a constant feeling. Could it be a pimple?

Hello,

You are suffering from hurt due to swelling in the labia. You have severe pain. Take care of your hygiene, take bath regularly and keep your private area clean. Do not touch, scratch or pick the area affected. To get relief from pain and reduce inflammation you can take Naproxen or Combiflam, one SOS when needed. Wear soft cotton clothes like skirts and avoid walking for a couple of days, stay at rest.

your symptoms are indicative of Bartholin's cyst. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist, if required it will be drained and antiseptic dressing done. You will be treated with a course of antibiotics (Augmentin) and analgesic. Get it cleaned and antiseptic dressing done on every alternate days for better and faster recovery. Avoid any type of sexual activity for a couple of days. To be on the safer side get STD tests done. If positive you will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
