Tiny Bump On The Roof Of Mouth, Small Taste Comes Out, Goes Smaller, Disappears Sometimes. Sensitive Area ?

noticed a very tiny bump like 1 or 2 milimetere in size, on the roof of my mouth , when i lick it with my tongue sometimes i get a small taste come out of it and it goes smaller, some times i cant fell it there at all? one time i ate food and it dissapeared for days ? is it just a sensative rea in the roof of the mouth?

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Tiny bump appeared on the roof of mouth may be due to abscess deveoped as a result of periodontal infection or deep caries of the associated tooth.

I would suggest you to visit a dentist and get the abscess drained and curetted.

A thorough scaling as well as root canal treatment has to be done if required.

Take amoxycillin along with analgesics.

Hi wellcome to HCMForum. According to your description it may be apthous ulcer with small collection of pus.
It needs to be treated as with other ulcers. i advire you to consult an ENT specialist for diagnosis and trea-
-tment. besides i advise you some diet restrictions as Dont take very hot or very cold foods. thank you.
