OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
Your symptoms suggest some trauma or infection of the urethra; the feeling you have explained is called strangury and is observed in urethritis. I would ask you see a urologist for an opinion. You should get a urinalysis and a pelvic sonogram if needed. Your symptoms would be relieved with urinary anti-spasmodics and antibiotics if needed. Please avoid intercourse until complete relief. Please take adequate water and liquids. Hope you find this answer helpful. Wish you good health.
