Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
It is not common for a heart problem to present with tingling
and numbness of the hands. Your problems are more suggestive of a nerve-related problem. There could be two possibilities:
1) a peripheral neuropathy
- which is a condition where there is damage to the small nerves in the peripheral areas like hands and legs. It can be seen in a variety of conditions, like diabetes
, certain vitamin deficiencies, etc.
2) a cervical spinal problem, e.g. a cervical spondylosis
, where there can be compression or irritation of the cervical spinal nerve
roots, and this can cause symptoms like tingling or numbness of the upper limbs.
You need to have a thorough neurological examination to ascertain the nature and extent of your problem. So, I suggest that you report this problem to your doctor and get yourself examined.
Wish you all the best.
