Hello.I write from Albania.First excuse me, if I make any mistake with my english language, but I will try to explain you my problem. I'm very worry, I have problem with my periods for about a year.Doctors don't know what is the real reason, they give me medicaments (femoden, Cycalcur) for my periods, and i have normal menstrual cycle only when i took this medicaments.I'm 28 old, and i I'm operated 3 years ago from Timus (thyms). (you think my operation conect with the periods problem)? I made many analyses but nothing...

Hi,
The Femoden&Cycalcur are both female preparations & when taken cyclically. they regulate menstrual cycle.
THymus gland is concerned with immunological devolopment & is useful only till puberty. removal of thymus is not likely to cause your mensrual problems.
the normal size of uterus is 35 cm lengthwise and 10 cm bredth wise at puberty.
The size of ovary is 3.5 cm bredth, 2cm length,&1cm in thickness.
The sizes vary according to age &parity .
If your ovaries are small- there is harmonal defficiency it has not grown. PLEASE consult an endocrinologist to have a harmonal assay-He will advice you the proper treatment .
Thank you.
