Time Gay Required In Between Switching Nortyptiline And Buproprion?

I used to take 25 mg daily of nortryptiline for a long time and recently my dr switched me to 150 mg of buproprion xl but am experiencing side affects I don t like such as not sleeping, heavy chest, headaches ,tired and would like to switch back to nortryptiline. The only reason I switched was dry mouth. Do I have to wait for 72 hours before switching I have not taken the buproprion xl since Friday morning at 7 am. Thanks for helping

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
You was taking nortryptiline, from a long time. Now shifted from that drug to the buproprion.
You are not comfortable with the buproprion, so want to change back. Since you are using nortryptiline since long time , there is possibility of non availability of the drug for action. Only 50%may be available.
I advise you to consult your doctor for change of the drug.
He may change to some other drug, and continue for some time more and then if you want can have the nortryptiline. Then it can have full effect.
