Tightness In Neck, BP 123/83, Relieved Temporarily By Motrin.

I am 41 and have been feeling a tightness in my left side of my neck right where collarbone is but there is no knot . checked my blood pressure and it was 123/83.. it tends to go away when i take motrin but then comes back

From your complaints it seems like you are having cervical spondylosis ( Degeneration of spine) with neck muscle spasm on the right side.Do you have any radiation of pain to the arm or numbness ? Take a X-Ray cervical spine AP Lateral view and consult a Orthopaedic surgeon.
