Tight Feeling In Lungs, Unable To Breath, Warm Sensation, Coughing After Using Bleach. Treatment Options?

Yesterday when using cleaning products I unknowingly mixed two chemical products that shouldn t be mixed, I ve learned -- toilet bowl cleaner and a cleaning spray with bleach. Continuing today I have a tight feeling in my lungs, having to take deep breaths to get a good amount of air, and a slight burning (warm) feeling there. I cough occasionally, but it isn t a very wet cough. I feel just a little lightheaded. No burning feeling in the eyes or throat .

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
It may be initial asthma symptoms. You need to consult a pulmonologist and get yourself locally examined. Along with it you must have a spirometry with bronchodialator reversibility testing to prove asthma conclusively. If proved then appropriate treatment should be started without delay. Again you may go for some allergic skin prick test and allergen may be detected by this along with serum specific IgE assay. If detected then you may have most recent sublingual immunotherapy for protection. Agian if spirometry is negative then you should have bronchial provocation testing in a good institute with proper precautions.
Thank you.
