Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
It is possible to have irregular periods may be due to hypothyroid issue but you are also over weight for your height as your ideal weight would be 55 to 60 kg.
Patients with obesity and hypothyroid can have deranged lipid profile.
Along with supplementation of thyroid you should take care of diet and exercise avoid high calories in diet please take low calories and fats as 25 Kcal/kg body weight it should be balanced and mixture of proteins, carbohydrates(Complex) and little fats polyunsaturated and monounsaturated one avoiding saturated fats, and take up regular exercises like walking ,jogging and cycling etc.
There is no harm in taking medicine for high triglycerides but remember this is long term therapy and you have to adapt to more healthy life style.
Please check thyroid function and Lipids after 3 months.
Take care.
Good Luck

Hello Kavitha,
At first you need to reduce your weight. Some suggestions of how to reduce your weight-
1. When ever you drink water - drink luke warm water, never cold water.
2. Vigorous walking 20 minutes twice a day. (Vigorous walking means walking but ata speed like you are just about to run, dont run but walk).
Get back to me aftr a wk of doing this.
