Thumb pain and numbness. Taking duoloton. What seems the problem?

i am 38 years old and suffering from bleeding .i am taking duoloton l tablets for last two weeks.meanwhile i developed severe thumb pain and numbess in fingertipness and i consulted a neurologist and he prescribed me pregalin sr 75mg.but nw am having a doubt that the swlling and pain in the thumb is due to the intake of duoloton or not.please help me to decide whether to take pregalin sr

The numbness or tenderness at thumb is not a side effect of duoluton tablets.
The pregabalin is one of the medicines which is helpful in treatment of nerve pain due to any reason.You may take this medicine.
