Throat Infection, Ringing In Ears. What Is The Treatment?

I have a throat infection. I can feel it deep in my throat when I cough . Infection has also moved into my ears, causing slight ringing in the ears. Ive had this for a couple weeks. And seems To be getting worse. Mid winter. Today I discovered a large area of fine white/greenish mold behind my bed which I cleaned up. I believe the mold had caused this throat infection. What treatment is suggested?

Hi,

You need to take a course of antibiotics like Amoxicillin. If fungal infection is suspected, then Flucanazole or itraconazole can be taken.

Both are prescription drugs, you need to get them prescribed by your treating doctor.

Get well soon.
