Welcome to Healthcare Magic forum.

Your symptoms suggests that you probably had Acute Pharyngitis. As you have already taken Tab.Azithral and Tab.Clavam you should be cured by now. Your pain in the neck and head, ear blockade all are due to the same condition.

You smoking could be the precipitating factor for your condition.

From your history it seems you do not have anything serious to worry about.

I suggest you to consult and ENT specialist who will examine and tell you about your problem in detail.

Hi, I am a 22 year old male. I smoke close to a pack a day. For the last couple weeks my ear started crackling when I swallow . I started paying attention and noticed my left tonsil is swollen. Swollen for about a week now. No pain in the throat, but sinuses act up every other day, watery eyes and now both ears are clogged really bad causing pain. A swollen gland or something has formed over my right ear bout the size of a ellongated pea. Right in the rear of my temple. Could this be throat cancer or something very serious?

I ve been sick for 8 days now with a sore/swollen throat, ear aches in both ears and a swollen tongue. The only med I m allergic to is tetricycline (doubt that s a correct spelling) and I have NOT had that. This started last Saturday - 13th - as a mild sore throat. Took my temp for the first time tonight and it was 101.2

I am in Czech Republic and came down with acute pharyngitis. I contacted my ENT in the US because I have had this before and he prescribed Mucinex D, Afrin, and Medrol dose pak. I had the first two with me but since Medrol is Rx only I did not have that. My ENT was willing to send a scrip but pharmacies said it would have to come from a local doctor. I saw a Czech physician who did exam, confirmed the problem and gave me a steroid in the form of a 10 minutes inhalation process. Also prescribed Erdomed 300 mg twice a day for 5 days. I don t know what Erdomed is. Should I keep with Mucinex and Afrin or not? What about Aleve@

Hi I was diagnosed with acute pharyngitis, since then I've been on augementin( for abt 2days) yet the fever doesn't subside, I just discovered 2 bumps under my armpit, I want to know if this is a reason to be concerned, or is it from the constant fever? Like I said I have been on augmentin for 2 days, 2x daily, and motrin 800mg 2x daily, what can I do?
