Secondly at night after sleep the throat gets sore and dry like having cold. Is this can be due to GERD. Also i Have some bumps on base of my tongue, can this be due to these bumps or due to the small tounge?. There is no Heartburn but i used to pass lot of gas. Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would like to suggest you that you should go for a throat swab culture and Complete blood Count(CBC).
Your symptoms are more in favour of sore throat due to bacterial infection.

If you are having GERD, you should take antacid like Omeprazole 20 mg once a day before meals along with Domperidone 10 mg.

Also avoid cold/spicy/oily foods.

Further treatment can be planned according to the reports of the investigations mentioned above.

I would also like to suggest you that you should go for a clinical examination by your doctor.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
