Thigh injury, massive knot, black and blue discoloration in leg. Due to blood clots?

I had a large heavy safe drop off a dolley after it broke. It hit my mid thigh and cause immense pain of course. Days after I have a massive knot in my thigh. It doesn t hurt too bad but my whole leg is black and blue. It doesn t seem to be getting any better but it doesn t seem like it s getting any worse. Any thoughts? I m scared of blood clots since it was a 900 pound safe striking my leg
