Thick Vaginal Discharge, White Color, No Odor. Reason For Concern?

Hello, I have a question concerning my vaginal discharge. For as long as I can remember, I've had a certain thickness and gooyness in the texture even before I was sexually active. I've had it on and off for years and I don't find it out of the ordinary, but I'd like to know why it gets this way at times. Also, now that I am sexually active, my boyfriend has noticed the thickness of the discharge right outside of my vaginal opening quite often, should I be concerned? The color ranges from a clear and creamy color, to white occasionally and there is no odor. I've tried to go to a gynocologist, but I live with my single father and it's a bit awkward.

Hi,
From your history it seems that you have got some vaginal infection, either fungal or bacterial.
You might have bacterial vaginosis.
Go for vaginal swab test to confirm nature and type of infection.
After report go for specific treatment.
Keep local hygiene clean, dry and airy.
Ok and take care.
