Hi,
It is advisable to undergo surgery again. If you leave the inguinal hernia untreated, there is a risk of developing complications which may require emergency surgery.
Hi,
This is surely recurrence and it is possible as you have not observed some do's and dont's .You might have done heavy wt lifting, constipation, had chronic cough may cause recurrence.
As pain in groin and testicles are there you go for operation as soon as possible to avoid complication like stangulation etc.

Hi, I m a 37yr. old female, and I have a bulge in my right groin area. During my annual physical I showed it to my Gynecologist. She said that I have an Inguinal Hernia. She sent me to a Surgeon, but he couldn t really tell if it was or wasn t a hernia. I started having pain and swelling again, so I went to see a different Surgeon. Because the swelling had went down he too could not say for sure that it was or wasn t a hernia. I ve noticed that it only swells up during certain times of the month. By the time I make an appointment & go to see the doctor; the swelling has gone down making it hard to identify. I ve had this problem for almost 2yrs. Is there anything I can do?
I just noticed a soft bulge in the groin area as I look down. It is an inch or two above the top of the penis and a couple inches to the left as I look down. No pain when I press it. It bulges out about 1-1/2 compared to the right side and is a couple inches in length. Could this be a hernia? If so, can it wait 6 months until my next doctor visit? email: YYYY@YYYY
I am person who has undergone hernia repair (left side inguinal hernia) in the year 2006. That time I could feel and see the bulge when I cough or sneeze. After the surgery it became allright. before surgery I asked doctor to put the mesh on both sides since my abdominal muscles may be weak. Doctor replied that it is against ethics to put a mesh on the side where there is no sign of hernia. when it come that time we can repair. Now for last six months i am feeling a a pain on my right side of the lower abdomen just above penis. I cannot see any bulges on the skin but i can feel something is moving inside when I turn sometimes on bed. So please advise is this is a symptom of hernia.
I am 4months post Incisional hernia(2 hernia's) repair and have been experiencing a poking and catching feeling in my stomach in repair. I had a colostomy last year for about 12wks due to a bowel rupture and then after the 12wks a reversal. Can the mesh be doing this or could this catching feeling be the hernia poppin through?

My Mother underwent a laparoscopic surgery for umbilical hernia repair couple of weeks ago. She is right now recovering well, her appetite seems to have opened up. Few days ago we got her CBC done, which showed her HG to be 6.5 and RBC to be 2.06. Doctor has asked to.give her 5 Vitcofol injections along with 1-1 of Folvite and Ferrium XT. Ever since.she started the vitcofol injections, she has been moderately constipated. Her stools are hard and slightly dark in color. Is this a normal side effect of Vitcofol or the Folvite and Ferrium tablets? Also, she feels chills in the body even though its not too cold. Although the.chills have reduced in last couple of days.
