the skin just above my eye brow is peeling and its been that way for almost a year now as well as my nose. ill peel the skin off both but in about an hour or two it come back i also put lotions and nothing i use unscented lotions. and they are both a bit red. u what could that be?
I would keep a possibility of seborrheic dermatitis. Seborrheic dermatitis can present with scaly itchy red patches over the face (eyebrows and area just above the eyebrows, sides of the nose, upper lip/ chin and bear area), scalp, chest and sometimes axilla etc.
If I was your treating doctor I would have asked you to use a topical moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone twice daily for 2 weeks or so. Thereafter you may use it off and on sparingly. If it is required to use a steroid regularly then it is better to switch over to a topical immunomodulator e.g tacrolimus or pimecrolimus rather than continuing with the steroid.
