The roof of my mouth went numb after eating cereal. I recently found out that i may have an intolerance to sugar as i get migraines after consuming it. This cereal did have sugar in it, but i have never had this reaction before.
Do not worry. You will be alright soon.
In future avoid sugars if you are allergic to it.
Take any second-generation antihistamincs (like levocetrizine) once a day.
Taking B-Complex pills with minerals twice a day will also help.
Gargle with warm water and salt to reduce the effect of sugars five-six times a day..

I had out of no where a blister appear on the roof of my mouth . It was soft and felt like it was filled with water. I looked in the mirror and could not see anything. But I could feel it. I got up the next morning and it was still there. I ate cereal for breakfast then it was popped. The cereal must have popped it. That was on Saturday that just passed. Since it has popped the roof of my mouth were the blister was is sore. Kind of raw feeling. When the blister came about or should I say when I noticed it, I was eating dinner. My husband said I most likely burned the roof of my mouth. But if that is the case, and the food I ate was too hot, (WHICH IT DID NOT SEEM TO BE) how come only the roof of my mouth got burnt. Or could it be something else?
Whenever I eat cereal, the roof of my mouth swells up. It doesn t hurt, just feels odd. It doesn t matter what type of cereal it is, although it swells more if it is a sugary cereal. It swells up if I eat the cereal with/without milk. I m just wondering what it means, and if this mean no more cereal in the future?
My 4 year old has been complaining lately about his mouth hurting, so much that he cries. its only after eating cereal. tonight i noticed little white bumps with red circles around them similar to a ant bite or a small white head (pimple) on the roof of his mouth and down into his throat. I had him brush his teeth and rinse his mouth yet he still complained about his mouth hurting but did not complain any further than that and went to sleep for the night. should i be concerned that it may be a allergy to milk or a specific color dye?

Hi, my name is Eva and my son (2) has Glucose galactose malabsorption. Do you know if digestive enzymes could help to ease this condition? I am also worried that in time he might have some renal or cardiovascular problems. So far he seems very healthy and is growing just fine on his fructose based diet. Thank you
