The entrance to my urethra appears to be swollen
The entrance to my urethra (the meatus) appears to be swollen, red & inflammed The entrance to my urethra (the meatus) appears to be swollen, red & inflammed and I constantly have the urge to urinate. In fact my entire vaginal area is burning. I have been diagnosed with vaginal atrophy and have used premarin, estrace, vagifem, compounded estriol and have a bad reaction to all of them as well as over the counter moisturizers made to be used in the vagina. The urologists say I have overactive bladder, but I am not sure about that. I have tried all of the medications for OAB. Vesicare, Detrol, etc. They make me stop urinating altogether. I am scared to take them because when I do my bladder feels like it will explode. I am 70 yr old female with no hope for the future. Can anyone help?

After using so many medicines, you are definitely fed up of all the treatments. So, i will suggest you to use only a combination of antimicrobial and steroid cream locally on the urethral meatus. this might help you.
