Do Trazadone Or Xanax Affect Blood Sugar Levels?

The doctors have recently put my brother on Trazodone for severe depression and anxiety along with Xanax. Since he started taking it he has been having an issue with keeping his blood sugar down even after docs doubled his dose of Lantus. Can either Trazadone or Xanax affect blood sugar?
