Test For Diagnosis Of Lymphatic Filariasis

Hello Doctor , I am a 33 year old female residing in India, I seem to have swollen calf leg and my ankles are also swollen. I suspect lymphatic Filariasis . I am not sure how to confirm occurence of this , Is there any test that can diagnos elephantiasis . Is this treatable ?

There are certain investigations to rule out filariasis.
Eosinophilia in blood,Detaction of micro filarie in peripheral blood,Chyluria in urine.Detaction of filarial antigen BY ELISA.
Certain medicines are there to control the diseace but not for total cure,
Consult your physician for further guidance and medical management.
