Hello. Thanks for using this forum. As far as the solid mass lesions is concerned on her liver, this calls for a thorough checkup, specially considering the age. Advise would be to undergo whole abdomen contrast enhanced CT scan, which will for sure reveal the nature of these solid mass lesions which can be otherwise difficult to differentiate on simple ultrasound. The definitive report ofcourse can only be diagnosed with liver biopsy, which ofcourse should only be done after a confirmed report on the CT scan. Regards.

General Surgeon Dr. Grzegorz Stanko's  Response
Hello
Unfortunately this looks like some metastatic tumors to liver (cant be sure until a liver biopsy is done).
It is very important to find the source tumor (of course it this is really metastatic tumors). Regarding the symptoms and age of your mother it could be an ovarian or a large intestine cancer, but it can be also something else (not cancer as well).
The CT should tell about the localization.
Thus tumors as well as the main tumor can be treatable but it depends on localization and a stage of disease.
Hope this will help
