Tendonitis In The Ankle, Tingling And Feeling Pins And Needles. Using Orthotics. Difficulty In Walking. Cause?

I have tendonitis in my right ankle. I have had orthodics for the past 3 years but on Tues got a new set. I have worn them today while at work (I am a coach for Gymnastics) and I can hardly walk. When I applied heat (as it is an old injury just inflamed) the sole of my foot has begun to tingle with a pins and needles type sensation.
