Tender Spot Above The Naval. No Swelling. Looks Like A Deep Bruise. Anything To Be Worried?

I have a very tender spot about an inch above my naval. It is very tender to touch. Has been coming and going on and off for months. It almost feels like a deep bruise but there is no swelling or discoloration. I am only now starting to pay attention to it so I m not sure if there are any consistancies for when this occurrs or how long it lasts.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us

I am Dr Vaibhav Gandhi, I am an Orthopaedic surgeon .
I have studied your case.

IF swelling size is same and not increasing you do not have to worry

YOU need to consult surgeon for clinical examination and required investigation

It can be benign or infective swelling

If needed you will need CT SCAN IF REQUIRED

Take care
