Hi Doctor,
My age is 19 (m).I have hair fall problem for last few months when I consulted doctor she has advised me to use androanagen tablet,
I just want to know about androanaen tablet.... and even I came to know that this tablets have side effects can u please explain about them and also suggest either it good to use or not...

Hello and welcome.

The effectiveness of these medicines is still theme of debates, and this is helpful in minority of patients unfortunately. There are also some unpleasant sexual side effects. So you and your doctor should consider cost-benefit of such treatment in young man like you, which is usually very long. Also, it should be confirmed that this is androgenic alopecia before tretament starts. Hair fall can cause cosmetic problem, but if this doesnt affect you emotionally you shouldnt treat this with anything.
