Welcome to HCM!

I have read your question carefully and I also agree with your GP. All this can be only because of headache only, but one must be cautious enough to rule out other important causes.

The pain in head associated with nausea and blurr vision, increased pulse and weakness can be related to migraine headache , but blood pressure needs to be checked. The point which is difficult to understand is that she has ear aches. May be it is upcoming viral infection, which is causing all these symptoms. It is seen in initial viral infection of upper respiratory tract.

If blood pressure is ok, then I think giving a pain killer ( may be injectable , as she has complaint of nausea) with anti emetic, and starting a course of antibiotic will make her good in one or two days.

Please do not worry so much, she will be fine.

Hope the reply is useful
