Taking Risedronate Sod, Feeling Pain In Jaw, Bones, Hot Sweat Dizziness, Low Blood Pressure. Is This Normal?

HI I need to know about this medication Resedronate Sod 35MG .I m taking this medication however I am feeling pain in my jaw also bones aswell as hot sweat dizziness low blood pressure sincerely could u tell me if this normal side affect for this med. Sincerely:Sylvia Winnipeg Manitoba

Hello there!
It for sure is the sdverse effects of the bisphosphonates you are on. wanna know why? because you are not taking it right and properly. so thats why. Sound like you have developed jaw osteonecrosis resulting in pain for jaw.
Take at least 30 minutes with 6-8 oz water before first food or drink of day
Swallow with plain water only, not coffee or juice
Stand or sit upright; do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking to avoid esophageal irritation
Seek the rheumatologist help to sort out further etiology if the problm and pain persisted. you can use simple acetminophen till then.

Hello.The effects that you refer may be due to the intake of risedronate.
It is especially important pain in jaw.Risedronate and other similar drugs used to treat osteoporosis can cause destruction of jaw.You must immediately stop the intake of risedronate, and go to your doctor as soon as possible to assess about alternative drugs and decide if is necessary be seen by an oral and maxillo-facial surgery.I wish you good health.
