Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi

welcome to health care magic,

The symptoms of muscle and joint pains could be the side effect of prednisone's

usage.

Prednisone belongs to the group of drugs called steroids.

Long term usage can lead to joint pains involving shoulders and hips and muscle

pains due to proximal myopathy caused by them.

Physiotherapy and occupational therapy would help you.

HOPE U FIND THIS HELPFUL.
