Welcome to HCM

Epilim or sodium valproate is a good medicine for bipolar disorder, seizure disorders and some times in pain conditions also. Usually for a healthy adult male with average built doses of 600-1200 mg are given. In some persons even high doses are given. If you are not getting relief in you pain condition then you should consult your psychiatrist for increase in dose. Concomitant use of methadone, marijuana can result in poor response. You have problem of hair fall, this is a common side effect of Epilim but it is reversible and on discontinuation of drug the hair growth occurs again. Please consult your psychiatrist for any side effect.
