Taking Birth Control Pill. Have Unprotected Sex. Changed The Pill. Pregnancy Test Negative. No Cramping. Problem?
Hello, I my first birth control pack was Sprintec. I began having unprotected sex after the 3 weeks of active pills, during the placebo week. Then my pharmacy changed my birth control to Mononessa. I took those immediately after I was done with the inactive pills, starting on the Tuesday pill because it was a Tuesday. Should I be worried about pregnancy? My first day of inactive Mononessa pills just ended, and I'm supposed to get my period sometime today, but I'm not cramping or showing any signs of starting my period. I took a test (although it's a day before my period should be) and it came out negative. Should I be worried that I'm pregnant?

While switching over pills so frequently as you did, it is common to miss a period. In addition, additional protection should be used during the first cycle of any pill. As you had intercourse during the later part of the cycle, you are relatively safe. You may see your period after a couple of days. If not, see a gynecologist for a proper appraisal of the situation. You should test for pregnancy 3-7 days after a missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. Hope your query is clarified. Take care.

I got your point.I don't think you need to worry,because you have started with another birth control pill immediately after you completed first one.
There may be a little shift n your periods due to change in the combination of ingredients.
Please read the instructions written on the pack of Mononessa & follow them.
You can go for Blood HCG test for excluding pregnancy if the period is delayed for a week.
