Taking Prozac 20 Mg. Will Taking Average Dose Of Ecstacy Cause Serotonin Syndrome?

Hi, I have been taking Prozac 20 mg for about 6 and half months and I'd like to do an average dosage of Ecstasy. I understand that prozac can lesson the effects of e and more dangerously may cause serotonin syndrome. E is the top drug on my list, so I really need to know if it's true that it will cause the syndrome? Also, I may be willing to stop the prozac for a length of time necessary to get it out of my system, how long will it take to get out? And what would be the negative effects of stopping it? Thank you.ro

Thank you for using Health Care Magic.Using MDMA/Ecstasy(E) while on is not advisable. There are reports of significant drug interaction between the two drugs. Moreover,E is known to have a potentially dangerous effect on the heart. The calming effect of Prozac may be lost if E is used.It may take 4-10 weeks for the Prozac to leave the system.
