Taking Meprate. No Periods. Have Slight Brownish Discharge While Urination. Will The Medication Affect The Fetus If Pregnant?

hello doctors i had taken meprate for 10 days 2 tabs each day in morning and night.it is almost 10 days but still to get my periods(except for a very slight brown discharge when i urinate.).before taking the tablets i took preg test twice and both were negetive.my gynec has advised me to take tablets for 5 more days.could i be pregnant ??? if so will it affect my baby.

Sometimes there is a delayed conception in which case the urine test for pregnancy comes negative. You can get your serum beta HCG levels evaluated to confirm or rule out pregnancy. After ruling out pregnancy, you can take meprate for 5 more days.
