Taking Fluticasone Propionate Spray For Inflammation In Nasal Passage. Eyes Are Tearing Up. Is The Nasal Spray Causing The Eye Symptoms?
Taking Fluticasone Propionate spray for 3 days now to try and help with inflammation in nasal passages and snoring. My eyes just started tearing up and getting bloodshot and there's nothing else to tie it to.
I have had a dry eye problem and used to take Restasis (I'm 60 and female) but prescription ran out a year ago so haven't had the $ to go back to opthalmologist for recheck. Is the nasal spray causing the eye symptoms?
I just had an optometry exam last week where no problems found other than needing glasses.

Steroid containing nasal spray does not cause tearing up, but it stop tearing if it is because of allergic condition, although it can develop Glaucoma if taken for longer period, so you need not worry about this. Have good day
