Taking Apo-Cephalex For Cut On Thumb. Will The Swelling Reduce?

3 days ago I got the lower nail of my thumb cut open due to a felon virus, I think. The swelling on the pad of the thumb doesnt seem to be going down, and I am taking Apo-Cephalex for the thumb. I left my thumb prone to disease after one morning (before i got it cut) it had a bump on the side of the thumb, and it hurt but I thought it was a sprain at first. Will the swelling go down?

hi,
felon is infection of finger pulp space. it will be treated with antibiotic, if you have pain you can take analgesic (pain killer), anti edema drug like serratiopeptidase tablet. you are rightly uusing antibiotic, in addition you can take pain killer and serratiopeptidase also.

wishing faster recovery.
