Taken Zithromax For Sore Throat, Bumps In Back Of Throat, Swollen Throat. Any Idea?
Hi I went to the w.e on the 26th last month for a severe sore throat . There s little bumps all back in my throat and white patches . Way back in my throat where I can t see feels swollen hurts to swollow on the left side. They tested for strep and mono both negative. Gave me zithromax antibiotics and just said it should clear up. It got better but the bumps and white patches never went away and now its hurting in the back and only left side when I swallow. Any idea what it could be?

in my opinion it seem to be sinus infection
as in sinusitis the excess mucus falls on back f throat causing chronic irritation and bumps on back of throat
as mucus fall in stomach there is hyperacidity which cause reflux oesophagitis causing acid with half digested food into throat which triger the codition
no antibiotic need
take anti allergic tabs
antacid syp neomycin h ointment in nse and sea water 1 drop at night in each nose to clear the throat
continue 2 wk
get xray pns waters view and consult ent docor to treat it for preventing recurences
