Taken Exermet And Folic Acid For Irregular Periods. Why Is Dominant Follicle Not Released?

Hi,
I got married before 1 year, till January my periods were regular, but after that i dnt get my periods for 3 months, and i imagined that i am pregnant, but urine test and blood test came as negative. then doctor prescribed me a harmone tablet and i got my periods after 13 days.. then every next month i periods got delayed from 50 days to 60 days also..now for past month doctor prescribed me Exermet500 mg to be take in morning and night time and follic acid 5 mg tablet at nignt and asked me to take dominate follicular study in alternative days from 10th day after my periods.. but it has been now 22nd day n no dominate follicle is seen.. she said this time scan is enough and next time lets see.. can i know the reason why dominate follicle is not getting released from ovary and suppose it gets released in 24h or 26th day and if i have inter course will it end in pregnancy or it is not advisable to have intercourse as egg will not be matured fully..

Hi, the reasons for amenorrhea, or irregular periods could be anemia, anxiety, poly cystic ovarian disease. or some harmone problems. First of all you should get the periods corrected, to be regular. Then only follicular study and other fertility procedures should be undertaken. Thank you.
